Team member invitation doesn't arrive

My attempts to invite a team mate to jira fail. The email is never delivered. I understand that this may be due to atlassian server incorrectly adding their email to a blacklist. Is there a different way to add members to a jira project? How to proceed?

Sorry, I looked into the actual mailbox in question. All the invitations I sent were there. The user didn't recognize them for what they were.
