Hi,
When i create a new task in the project I get the "For issue to be visible, it must match your project and filters, and have a status that’s assigned to the board." message. The tasks are created in the backlog and. am having to manually move them to the board.
Note: This is a team-managed project.
In Board Settings, under Columns and statuses - all of the columns have a status assigned to them.
TO DO - to do
IN PROGRESS - in progress
UNDRE REVIEW - under review
DONE - done
I currently have no Custom Filters applied, however, I have tried using "project = "project name" and I still received the error.
Any help to get the issues to automatically appear on the board would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi @Christopher Smith , welcome to the community.
Could you provide a screenshot of you board configuration by clicking on the ellipses and selecting configure board. Please ensure you capture the full view.
please note that if you create the issue under the Backlog section in the Backlog view the issue won't appear on the Board view. You must drag the issue to the Board section. If you use the create under the Board section it will/should.
I get the exact same error for a task that is identical to another task. But task A does not appear in the board and Task B does! both under the same project, same epic and it is not on the backlog!!

Hi @Christopher Smith Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Are you able to see the issue in JQL query using Issue Navigator ?
Is it Scrum board or Kanban board? In Scrum Board, if issue in a Active Sprint then only visible in Board.
All status are mapped ? Click Configure Board >> Under Boards >> Column & Status.
Thanks
V.Y
