I have created a grid and want to have it sort on column 1 first and colum 2 second. Is there a way to do that?

Hi Jana,

This is certainly possible - check the [col.xyz.defaultSort|https://wiki.idalko.com/display/TGPD/col.xyz.defaultSort] property.

When this property is set, the grid is sorted on this specific column (either ascending or descending)
When multiple columns are specifying a defaultSort, the sort order is according to the column order in gd.columns.

Hope this helps - if not - feel free to send a mail to support.tge@idalko.com and we'll be happy to help out

Francis
