We just purchased JIRA Software Server, a self managed one version yesterday for 25+ users.

Size : Standard_D2s_v3 - 2 vcpus, 8 GiB Memory
Disk : 128 (Premium SSD)
RAM: 8GB

For the above configuration, can we install the DB server in the same server where we have installed the JIRA Software Server? Do we have any recommended practice?

Answer accepted

I would not expect any problem running the database server on that alongside the application server. Assuming it's only running those two services on top of the OS.
