System Description field

Hi Team,

I have one requirement: In one of my projects, I have Risk, defect, and incident issue types. For all these issues, we have a description field. In that description field, I need to add a separate template for these issue types. for one issue type, I have added the context for another issue I was unable to add.

For all the issues the templates are different.

Any suggestion

Good day! Welcome to Atlassian community :)

Currently, Jira Cloud does not natively support predefined templates in comments or custom text fields.

As a workaround:

• You can use Issue Templates Picker - Summary, Description and more or Issue Templates for Jira Cloud  marketplace apps
• You can use Automation. More details here: Set Default Description Template for Jira Cloud Work Item Types
