Hi,
We've set up Azure AD syncing and users show up after adding them to the Atlassian Cloud Enterprise application on the Azure AD portal.
However this doesn't seem to work with AD groups. When adding an AD group the the Atlassian Cloud Enterprise application, I cannot find it in the Atlassian admin portal.
Where can I find the synced AD groups ? My colleague tells me that only the members of the AD group are synced, not the group as itself. Is that correct ? Or are these AD groups showing up in another place then in User Management ?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Joeri Michiels
I don't have a setting for syncing specific groups and users. We do have a setting for our domain setup for automatically claiming accounts. (see attached screenshots)

In the synchronization settings for Azure AD, there should be a setting that you can sync all users and groups, or sync specific groups and their users. I would look at that setting and make sure that it's configured to either synchronize all groups, or groups that you want.

Hi Jim,
unfortunately there is no sync settings for users and groups. (see previous screenshot). Our admin has setup our AD domain for automatically claiming accounts (see screenshot). Could it be that this is the cause why sync settings for users and groups does not appear on our Identity Provider settings?
How could we bring back this sync setting ? Or is there an alternative way of configuring this ?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Joeri

We've setup an Identity Provider to sync with our Azure AD, however it doesn't sync users or groups. The troubleshooting log is empty. What could be the issue ? Thanks for your help.
