I have an instance of Jira synced with Active Directory on a network. This instance of Jira can be accessed by other connected networks. The issue is that the network login has rules where an account is deactivated after a certain period of time if not logged into. What happens is if the user is continuously accessing Jira from another network and never logging in, then the rules deactivate the user's accounts, meaning they also can no longer log into Jira.
Is there a way to synchronize Jira and LDAP where logging into Jira can forward that last login information to Active Directory so that, as long as the user is at least logging into Jira, it counts as a full login to the network and the user account is not deactivated?
