Hello , i accidentally changed to Advanced View.
It is not practical at all.
Could you please guide me how to change to Basic View?
I cannot see any button "switch to Basic" which existed previously.
Even when i use very simple query, it doesn't appear.
Thank you.
Hi @Vasiliki Baboula , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your post.
I think you mean that you can't change back from the new navigation - https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Community-Announcements-articles/Atlassian-s-new-navigation-is-here/ba-p/2958732
The reason for this is because you can't go back anymore. There was a period where you could preview the new navigation and rollback, but that has finished.
Sorry

Hello Valerie.
Actually i don't mean the whole view.
I cannot see the following "switch to Basic " option
because i want to switch from the following view which i'm having right now
to similar to this one which i previously used and had arranged all the necessary fields for all my filters.
Thank you.

Hi @Vasiliki Baboula , thanks for your comment and apologies for the misunderstanding.
I think you just need to click on this button here -
Please can you try that and see if it helps / works?
Cheers

Unfortunatelly, no.
The detailed view provides me the following,
And the three dots don't include "Switch to Basic.
Thank you

Hi @Vasiliki Baboula , thanks for your reply and apologies for my delay in responding.
I am afraid, however, that I still don't understand what you are asking.
The 'switch to basic' refers to the JQL query, so you either see the drop-down boxes to select what you want to filter on, or you write query in JQL. Here, for example, you are already seeing in the 'basic' mode
If you are talking about the columns, that is here, the possibility to switch between your preferred columns and the system default.
Does that help at all?
Cheers

Hello Valerie,
Thank you for your answer, but sorry, that's not what i mean.
It is difficult to show you my screen as it was before, as i cannot go back to this screen :-)
I found an image in the internet that might help you.
I want to see this option when i use filers, below "Switch to Basic" which i can no longer see.
Thank you.

Hi @Vasiliki Baboula , thanks for staying with me.
The reason you can't switch back to a Basic query anymore is because the query is using advanced JQL functions that the Basic query doesn't manage to parse.
For example here ^, I also can't switch to Basic.
In your examples, I don't really see why this option is disabled, as they don't seem to be advanced queries.
This article is for data center - https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/search-view-can-not-be-switched-from-advanced-view-to-basic-view/ but it is the same principle. You can only view the Basic search without advanced search functions.
