Swimlane items e.g. expedite should be visible for all regardless if individual icon is selected

An item in the swimlane needs attention and should be moved to done ASAP. It is important that it is visible for all. However, when a user filters the items on the board by selecting the individual icon, swimlane item not assigned to the user is invisible.

Is it possible for all swimlane (expedited) items to be always visible for all regardless of the user icon selected?

Hi Flora - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The problem is that Swimlanes only show if there is a Card in the Swimlane. So if there is no Expedited card the Swimlane will not show.

Therefore, when the card is showing but the user clicks on a filter or user avatar and that hides the card, then the Swimlane disappears as well.

Hi @Flora Wiskari

Welcome to community!

Unfortunately the quick filters are 'AND' combination and if the query doesnt match, the issue doesnt get visible in the board.

This suggestion feature https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-86372 which is not picked up by Atlassian should help in these situations. We can vote for it and hope it gets picked up :)
