SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Hello,

When i am configuring incoming mail on our Jira server than i will get follow error .

Error Detail as follows:

Unfortunately no connection was possible. Review the errors below and rectify:SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target.

Can you please suggest me solution for this problem .

This means your Jira has not got the certificates needed to connect to your mail server.

You'll need to talk to your mail server admins about getting a valid certificate to allow access.

Hello Nic,
We are using outlook.com SMTP for mail functioning.

SMTP Server : imap-mail.outlook.com

We need to import its certificate at Jira keystore.
