Suggest parent only for active project in issue search

Hi all,

I am having a bit of a buzzkill while trying to filter issues in project on Jira Cloud.

So, when filtering, first i select a project, then i would like to select one specific Epic which is a parent to multiple items.

Problem arrises when Parent dropdown displays, it contains all parents in the instance, not just Epics from previously filtered project.

project = "INDI" and parent = PS....

It displays bunch of parents not related to my project.

Is this working as planned or should we get project specific Parents, at least at the top, then others below?

I believe this is working as designed. However, I agree that this doesn't always make sense. However, the nature of 'parents' being outside of the scope of an existing project is often applicable as well.
