Subtasks are not getting created automatically on Story / Defect

Previously when subtasks are added to the issue type, 'Template', and that template is added to a story, the subtasks used to get automatically created. Post JIRA cloud migration, that is not happening. Is there any other way to automate subtask creation on Story / Defect?

Hi @bsaicharan

You might have had a Marketplace App installed before that was used for creating these Sub-Tasks automatically.

On Jira cloud, you could use an Automation Rule to automatically create sub-tasks. See this example from the example library: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/automation-template-library/rules#/rule/112180

Hope that helps.

Have a nice day!

Are you creating subtasks by using any automation rule or marketplace apps? if its automation rule, then after the migration you need to do create that rule again in cloud or do import it from original(need to update field ids if you have any in cloud). If its through any third party plugin like JSM,JWME etc you need to install them again in cloud and do the configurations to workflows as needed.
