I need to export data with all the fields. I am currently using a filter, but it could be a faster process with Structure. I discovered today that you do not get the option to include all fields when exporting from structure.
Can I create a view that includes all the fields? I am trying to export all the fields for the Decision Issue type. There are no other issue types in the structure I am exporting.
Hello @Lisa J. Allman ,
David from ALM Works here. It sounds like you are using our product, Structure - Flexible Jira Project Management.
If this is the case, Exporting to Excel will include all of the fields you have added as a column to the structure view.
If the fields you would like to export are not being exported, they will need to be added as a column. There is no separate option to include all fields only when exporting.
If there are any concerns over this "cluttering" an existing view, you can create a new "export" view that would contain all of the fields you need to export.
Please let me know if this helps!
Best Regards,
David

You didn't mention what format you want to export to, but both Better PDF Exporter and Better Excel Exporter apps have integrations with Structure.
Please check out what they can do for you and if they produce the output you need. If you find that it's not quite that, feel free to reach out to us so we can see if we can help with your use case.

I want to export it to a csv file and include all the fields just like we can do with a filter in Jira. I read through the above documentation but I did not see where that capability is available. Also the permissions around my work place are strict so it is not easy to just download an add-on.
