Our setup:
Jira DC and Confluence DC linked together by application link
Project Link between a Jira Projects and a Confluence Spaces.
What happens:
On one specific Jira Project we always do get a strange old activity entry from the related confluence space. (A year ago somebody added an attachment to that page).
When creating a new Issue and then selecting the Activity tab on that Issue I do always see that old activity from that confluence page attachment. On that space there have been much more and newer activities which is not shown in the jira issue activity tab.
Question:
Why do I get this old activity displayed on newly created Jira Issues?
Can you share a screenshot of the issue with steps that show what you are doing? I would like to try and recreate.
Hi Brant,
I don't know if I can really help you with some screenshots. But as an example this one here. Issue was created in Nov. 2023. But shows activities from 2022 (a foto attachment add in Oct 2022 on a page that changed last in Feb 2022).
Jira Project has a Confluence Project Link to the Space where the attachment is attached. Standard setup, nothing special here. But it's really always this same attachment file hoping up in all activity streams ...
