Story points missing from 1 issue type

Checked community didn't find an equivalant - we recently added issue type 'Design' to project in the schema and the story point value is not showing.  When I use the 'where's my field' (old view) option - I can type in and select story points but I get a 'gray' screen which I can't do anything on, like it's stuck.  I checked schema, and used the new configure in new view, the value is present.  Just not showing and backlog view is 'white' where points bubble would normally show

Hi @Tere Pile ,

You need add newly created issue type in story field custom contexts.

Go to Custom fields > Search Story Points > Click Configure > Edit Configuration > select Any issue type.

Thanks, that helped! The interface is changed now a bit, but you can get around with this guideline.
