Hi there,
From my understanding of the velocity chart, the gray "commitment" bar for each sprint shows the total estimate of all issues in the sprint when it begins, excluding any changes to the sprint. The green "commitment" bar for each sprint shows the shows the total completed estimates when the sprint ends.
After I look at the burnup chart, which shows story points under the "completed work" and "work scope" columns, the total work scope when the Sprint started doesn't reconcile with the data being shown on the grey bar in the velocity chart. In addition, the "sprint finished" story point data from the "completed work" column should also match up with the green commitment bar from the velocity chart for that specific sprint. However, this doesn't for some of our projects, but not all.
Why is that? What is different between "work scope" from the burnup chart and "commitment" from the velocity report? Isn't that the same thing?
Also, is there an easier way to get a CSV export of the data that is powering the velocity report?
