Story Points value edit

I need to add two additional values as part of Story points custom field. But "Edit Options" is not shown While trying to edit the context and value. Is that due to ongoing Sprint? Is that any restriction applied on the field that it could be edited only before Sprint Start/after sprint closure. Please clarify

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Are you working with a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project? Get that information from the Type column on the View All Projects page under the Projects menu.

What is the field type for the custom field? Can you provide a screen image that shows that information?

Can you provide a screen image of the screen where you expect to see "Edit Options" but don't see that?
