Are the “Story Points” and “Story Point” fields duplicate in JIRA?

Hello @Smitha Joseph 

Those are different fields.

"Story Points" is a custom field created by Jira to support Company Managed Software projects.

The other field may have be a custom field created by your Jira administrators.

In you environment they may serve different purposes. You would need to talk to your Jira Administrators to find out.

Hi @Smitha Joseph 

If you are seeing 2 fields in your Issue, it could be duplicates. You can check duplicates easily using the REST API - https://XYZ.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/field/.  ( Substitute XYZ with your instance name )  and check for duplicate fields
