Story Point Estimates for Epic should have the option to automatically aggregate Child Story Points

I would be beneficial if the story point estimates for an Epic is provided with have an option to automatically aggregate Child Story Points as this will provide management 10000 foot view on the size of epics

Indeed, Jira does not have the functionality to sum the Story points from stories in their related Epics. We understand how useful this feature would be to better prioritize and work on your Epics, so we created the following feature request to get it implemented:

Sum Story points for epics 

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

As an option, you can use a third-party app to add that feature, as Epic Sum-Up. P.S: There is a free version for this same app, that you can use to sum the time spent on child issues.
