Stories not showing in Jira board

Saket Gandhi July 4, 2018

Hi All

I created a new component and then created new epics associated them with the new component. Now the issue is that those stories which were mapped with the new component , when the sprint Is started is not showing in the jira board though they exist.

Not sure what the issue is

We need to be clear here.  Are you talking about Epics or Stories?

Could you show us the board filter, and look at the column mapping too - are all the status mapped to the board?

Best option for debugging this is to pick an issue you think should be on the board, and look at why it is not, starting with a look at status and filter selecting it.

I am referring to stories not epics.

Hi Saket

Are you saying they're not appearing in the sprint? Or not showing in the backlog?

You need to look at the filter for the board if it's the second one, but let me know exactly where it  isn't showing

Saket Gandhi July 6, 2018

its not showing in either of it.

We have 2 teams boards, when i say overall board then it displays those stories.

It shows in overall backlog , but we have 2 teams when we go into invidual backlog of team it does not shows.

Same applies for sprint as well
