Hi @C Hollie and welcome to the community,

If you are importing your csv as a normal jira user, then most likely you can't map your status column to the status field. You have to be a jira admin to do that and to go from:

  • cog wheel > system
  • external system import > csv

Let me know if you encounter the same problem if you go to from Jira administration.

Hi @C Hollie ,

welcome to the Atlassian community!

Please could you check if column status in your csv contains valid values? Status value should be contain the name of your desired status (existing on jira side)

Resolution

If not specified in your CSV file, imported issues will be given the default (i.e. first) Resolution as specified in your Jira site. You can also create new Jira values on-the-fly during the import process.

See How to handle unresolved issues for helpful tips.

Status

Can only be mapped to existing workflow statuses in Jira. If not specified in your CSV file, imported issues will be given the default (i.e. first) Status as specified in your Jira system.
