Hey there guys!
Hope you're doing well. I've been trying to work on restricting the workflow to a specific status, by restricting this transition unless a given dropdown has some specific values. There are three values that could lead you to say, status "approved".
I've tried setting a specific rule for each applicable field value, but it doesn't seem to work. Unless I have a single rule, the status are always hidden.
Maybe this is just a Jira limitation, that doesn't allow me to set it up conditionally, and I must state 'static' rules, but keen to get confirmation before I loose any more time on this.
Thank you!
What a facepalm moment on my end!
Thank you so much for the reminder - this worked like a charm, tbh.

To clarify what you need to do: You have a drop down field with three values. Status in your workflow cannot be changed, unless a specific value has been selected from drop down field.

To continue with the answer, you can do this with the Restrict when a field has a specific value.

Thank you @Nikola Perisic , I was able to make it work using a validator, instead of a restriction rule. I was working on the restriction rule for a while now, to a point I failed to explore other options.
Thank you for the interest anyhow <3
