Hello,
I use Jira Work Management to manage our project, but there is an anomaly for the DONE status number: Number show on the Board tab is different from the List tab
DONE status number is 25 (all filter is cleared)
DONE status number is 182
What could go wrong for this case? How can I know which filter so it shows only 25 Done instead of 182 Done ?
Thank you in advance
Hello @Arief Iqbal
Welcome to the Atlassian community!
I see from the screen images you are working with a Business/Work Management project.
1. The Reports menu
If you are using the Pie Chart under the Reports menu and not changing the default filter it uses then that chart is reflecting ALL issues in your project.
2. The counts in the column headers for the board
The board display for a Work Management project will automatically hide issues from the Done/right-most column with those issues have been in that column for longer than 14 days. So the total on that column of "25" is reflecting the number of issues that have been in that column for 14 days or less. Note also that the counts in all columns don't reflect subtasks.
3. The summary page
The summary page is similar to the board in limiting what is counted for the Done/right-most column/status. It is different from the board in that the counts do include subtasks.
When you click on the count for the Done/right-most column/status in that pie chart on the summary page you are getting all the issues in that status in your project that have been in that status for 14 days or less.
Hi Trudy thanks for your response. Ah I see! So the next question is: Is there a way to change the 14 days so the "Done" count still show on the Board/Summary tab? Let say I want to expand to 28 days before it disappears from the Board (for Done status)

No, not in the built-in displays for Work Management projects.
That level of configuration for a board is available if you have the Jira Software product and create a Kanban board leveraging that product. Users would have to have a Jira Software product license to view that board, though, and it would not be the native board displayed in the Work Management project.
There is a change request about making the number of days configurable:

I see. Yes we do have Jira Software product, so you mean that I can create new project using Software Development template and choose Kanban then configure the status availability, correct?

You don't need to create a new project. You can simply create an additional board.

Boards and reports are for looking at different things. A board may have a load of stuff in its backlog, or be ignoring things from previous sprints, or released versions, or, or, or, whereas the pie charts you show us will be more simple, just showing you everything from a filter.
The best thing to do here is look at the filter behind the pie chart, and then look at the board filter and how the boards work in relation to it. Ideally, the board filter and the pie chart filter would be the same saved filter, which will make this easier to explore.

Hi Nic, thanks for response! Is there any way to make the board look exactly the same with what's on the List? (List count the DONE status 182)

Yes, you can alter what the board selects such that it includes all the issues you want to see.
You can only do that if a) you are not going to be doing Scrum, and b) you understand the filters behind your board and chart.

Given that this is a Work Management project you cannot alter the filter behind the board nor the filtering used on the Summary page.
