Hello,
The "Start Stand Up" button has disappeared again. Does anyone know how to get it back?
It is affecting our daily meetings.
Thanks in advance.
Hello @Angela Del Pinto
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
That is not a feature that I use, but I find it is still available in my Kanban and Scrum boards from the Actions button above the board on the right. Are you not seeing it there?
I have seen posts from 2024 that this was an experimental feature deployed by Atlassian. They deploy and revert experimental features without notice. I saw posts from earlier in 2025 where people mentioned that the feature had disappeared. If you were accessing it recently and it is no longer available it may be that Atlassian has reverted it in your environment.
You might be able to get it re-enabled by contacting Atlassian Support.
Hi Trudy, that is where I used to access it. I think you are correct. It suddenly disappeared on Monday. So it could be due to an update. I live in hope that I can figure out a way to get it back.
Thank you so much for your help on this.

I encourage you to contact Atlassian support to see if the option can be re-enabled in your environment. They may also be able to give you a link to a change request about it or information about if it is on the product roadmap for a future date.

Hi @Angela Del Pinto -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Adding to Trudy's suggestions...In this week's cloud changes, blog post, there is a feature "rolling out" with configuration changes to "Start Stand-up". Thus, it may have some stability problems. Please search for this text on the page for details:
A new way to run team stand-ups directly in Jira
