Start Date seems bugged on my Jira

Hi, 

I've recently come across what I think is a bug where the start date doesn't seem to appear when I create a new issue. 

If I click custom fields and toggle the start date box, it appears for a brief second and then disappears. 

I also cannot change the start date on a task's page either

Any advice?

Can you check if the field

• Has context for the project and issue type (Admin -> custom fields -> start date -> configure)
• Is not hidden in the field configuration for the project and issue type
• Is named on the create issue screen for this project and issue type
