Sprint closure: spillover tickets shows issues removed from sprint not incomplete issues.

Jira Version: 1.8.0_131 (upgraded recently)

Nature intermittent

Steps

1) Crete a new sprint 

2) Add stories to sprint

3) Close sprint 

4) Go to sprint report

Expected behavior 

issues not completed should be shown as "Issues Not Completed" instead they show as "Issues Removed From Sprint"

if you go to the burndown chart and look through the details - you will see Sprint reopened by "XYZ user"  and  

Scope change

Issue removed from sprint

and then finally sprint closed. 

has anyone observed this or other weird behavior?
