Splitting or Cloning Issue and have the branch accompanied with the splitted or cloned issue

Hi all,
We are using the Jira and Bitbucket and we create the branches for each issue through the create branch button of the issue.
In the case that an issue is not finished during a Sprint I usually split or clone the issue and have then new one in the next sprint. The problem is either with split or with clone I don't have the already opened branch in the new issue.
Is there a proper way or a workaround to handle this case.?
