Sorting in backlog on Next-Gen Scrum project

How can I set up sorting on the backlog in the next-gen scrum project?  Is there a way to do this?  So far, I have been unable to find a way.  Also, is there a filter that I can use to filter out specific priorities under the backlog or on the board?  How would I set up that filter in a next-gen project?

When using next-gen projects, since it's more simple than Classic projects, currently it's not possible to use filters for Boards and Backlog.

There are some feature requests suggesting the implementation of such ability:

• Ability to create quick filters in Next-gen project
• Next-gen order by field in backlog
