Sometimes I can't add watchers to tickets

What's up with that? How do I fix this?

@Tonia Klein in addition to what @Marc -Devoteam- and @Dirk Ronsmans provided there is the use case where on a work item you can add one watcher but not another.  If this is occurring you will need to make sure that the user has the proper permissions to the space.

Are the work items in the same space (project) or in different ones?

Do you the role or permission to set watchers for any or these work items?

Permission scheme in a space (project) defines, the role, group or user how may set watchers, this can differ if different permission schemes are used, space by space.

Are both work items in the same space?

If it are multiple spaces you could look at the permissions to see if you have the "Manage Watchers" permission on the space where you are not able to.

Also, if you cannot add the Watchers, are you able to edit the work item at all?
