Hi Atlassian Support / Community,

I’m currently trying to create a new Jira Cloud site, but the site creation process fails with the following error:

Something went wrong on our end. Please try again. If this keeps happening, contact support.

Trace ID: 6108f5e2de3241bbb4f621cd22056bef

The error occurs every time I try to create the site, so I’m currently unable to proceed with setting up Jira.

Could you please check whether there is an issue with my Atlassian account or the Jira Cloud site creation service, and advise me on how to resolve it?

Thank you for your help.

Hi @Hau Nguyen

Please try again later, as this can be do to high traffic on Atlassian platform, otherwise is it keeps failing, raise an issue.

Because this involves specific steps, The Atlassian Billing and Licensing team will need to handle this.

 - To get this resolved, please follow these steps to create a support ticket:

- Open a browser in Incognito/Private mode (this is important to ensure you aren't automatically logged into the suspended account).

- Go to the Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing, & Licensing | Atlassian.

- Under How can we help you?, select Product Trails.

- Choose a topic.

- Fill in the details.

- If the message box isn't visible, click on “Need more help?” to make the description field and submit button appear.

In your description, please explain the situation and include a link to this forum post so the agent has all the context.

Hi @Hau Nguyen ,

  1. If you are seeing this on Brave, turning off shields, accepting 'only necessary' cookies in the consent banner and turning shields back on seemed to have worked for users.
  2. If not brave, try creating in incognito mode.
  3. You can also go to https://admin.atlassian.com/ --> Apps --> Atlassian Apps.
If the site was created, you can view here

Hi @Hau Nguyen ,

On top of what Marc said, can you try this?

You could try adding the new Jira app/site through Add a new Atlassian app or collection to your organization.

If you don’t yet have an organization where you’d like to add the new Jira site, you can create one by following Create an Atlassian organization and checking the section Create an organization without apps.

I've talked a bit about that here.

Cheers,
Tobi
