Some issues marked as Done are missing from an Advanced Roadmaps plan

Oliver Blaskowitz April 25, 2024

Hi,

Some issues marked as Done are missing from an Advanced Roadmaps plan.

I found articles about that the Resolution has to be set, but for example for tickets from the ServiceDesk its not working:

Example

ITSD-xxx has Status done and Resolution done it will be not shown in the roadmap/plan.

Same ticket was shown before in other Status and it will shown in the Status Closed after Done too.

Need help here please

best regards

Oliver

Hi @Oliver Blaskowitz !

I would start by checking your plan settings and exclusion rules. There is an exclusion rule to exclude any issues completed after a certain timeframe (typically 30 days). So anything completed 31 days (or more) would be excluded from the plan.

This is used to ensure the plan doesn't get bogged down with too many completed issues, so you don't reach the 5000 issue limit for the plan. That being said, if the issue you're looking for was marked as complete before the timeframe set by the exclusion rule, the issue won't show in the plan.

You can find more information on exclusion rules at the link here: Plans in Advanced Roadmaps

Hope this helps!

Hello @Bryce Lord ,

sadly its not working.

I have a normal filter which shows me 128 Tickets in the normal Issue-List.

When i use exactly this filter for Issue Sources and there is no filter set for exclusion rules and the exclude dates is set=3000 days, then it shows me just 54 Tickets still in the Plan.
