Some issues don't show in backlog

I have a board that combines tickets from 4 different projects. For 1 of those 4 projects, in-progress tickets show on the sprint board, but "backlog"-status tickets don't show in the backlog.

I've double-checked the filter query and the settings for the project, but everything is the same as it is for the other 3 projects whose tickets work as expected. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Hi @Shelly Duggal

If you create an Issue for this Project in the Backlog view, what happens? Does a pop-up mention if the issue is not visible?

  • If yes, it means there's something in the filter and/or board configuration limiting its visibility
  • If no, have you got a quick filter or similar set on the board, which might be inadvertently hiding those issues?

Depending on the outcome, it'd be good to get some more information like the issue's filter, the Project types, the first Status of each Project in the Workflow, and your Board's column design.

Hello @Shelly Duggal

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Are the source projects Company Managed or Team Managed projects?

Can you show us the Columns/Statuses configuration for the board? Are there any statuses in the Unmapped Statuses area?
