Software project type missing

When I create a project, I can only create Business projects. I cant even change a test business project to Software since software doesnt appear as a type.

Is there some sort of plugin that was supposed to be brought in with my install? I'm using Jira Software 8.2.1 upgraded from 5.5.7 (its been a while). I have existing software projects that I can access/use just fine.

It turns out i just needed to reapply my license. Now we're up and running!

Mike,

Do you have Jira Software, Jira Core, or both? It almost sounds like you upgraded Jira Core, since only Business projects are available in it.
