I checked similar topics but found no match, so pardon a newcomer firing off a question so soon:
We are trying to decide how to capture Atlassian licensing in our SAM application and wondered if it would be better to declare it a "suite" or "individual application."
Atlassian Core is licensed *per named user* with a *single entitlement for 3 different tools* The single entitlement *grants 30,000 rights per tool.* We don’t know yet if the team can provide a PPN for the product.
When I open a new entitlement record in the instance and select Atlassian as the Publisher, exactly 3 available products display: HipChat, Confluence, and JIRA Client. This is an on-prem instance.
It feels like this should be a one-to-many parent-child model relationships, but I’m not sure we can do that – I don’t see any parent fields that look intended for this out of the box except those that have to do with suites.
*1.) Would this be a suite?* How do we know if something is a suite or not? Is it something we should ask the team directly or can infer based on the info provided?
*2.) Or would we create 3 different Atlassian Core models, one for each tool (product), with 1 entitlement record for each model where the entitlement data is the same for all 3 so that 30,000 per named user rights are available to each user – but then how do we account for cost?*
