Slow performance/non-responsive since upgrade to 5.7.2

Hi

We upgraded to 5.2.7 (from 5.0.4) over the weekend. Since then, users are complaining of JIRA hanging - actions like transferring tasks etc do not complete (popup showing progress just stays there). Then if they cancel the popup, the action appears to have been completed.

Hi Steven,

Since it's seems that it slow in the browser side, does it happen to all browser types ? Have you tried different browser version ?

Just to confirm, check if it is also same behaviour with:

  • Base URL match the URL access by user
  • direct access (bypassing the network configuration eg: proxy)
  • does it always slow or only slow during certain time of the day ?
  • does all issue operation is slow ?

Appears to be a browser display issue more than anything else -

JIRA is updating as normal, but the windows shows it to be still working

Workaround for now: while the screen looks like it’s still busy, open another tab for the same JIRA and u’ll see the update has taken place
