For Jira issues updates, we integrated Slack with Jira.
Now we have a project called "Development," and in this project, we have a "Role Change" issue type, with the issue security level set to the "Developer" group.
As a result, one of the users raised concern that he was not a member of the Developer group:
1] He can see the comments made in the Slack channel.
2] But he couldn't open the issue in Jira.
So, if the issue security level is applied for that issue type, that user should not be able to notify via Slack.
And, if issue security has been applied to any issue type, how can we limit Slack notifications?
Also, if someone tags that user to that issue type(Role Change) where the issue security has been set, would he be notified through Slack?
@Gajanan Sasane Per the documentation "The plugin doesn't respect Issue Security levels applied to issues. Notifications for issues with Issue Security levels applied will be sent to connected Slack channels, that might expose a sensitive information." https://confluence.atlassian.com/slack/using-jira-applications-with-slack-966662163.html
