Simultaneous updates to tickets from multiple users issue

How do you address the issue/ when two (or more) users are updating the same ticket simultaneously and the ticket only shows the update of one user (usually the last user who hit save)? Is there a workaround for this? Tnx!

I don't believe there is a workaround for this. this is how distributed systems work
