Show subtasks on Kanban board for a specific set of epics

Matt Agnes March 20, 2023

I'm trying to set up a Kanban board that displays the subtasks for a specific set of epics, or where a specific label is set.

As soon as I include a query for the 'parent' it no longer allows me to show subtasks.

Can anyone help?

Here's the query I have set up so far:

parent in (EPV-526, EPV-607) or labels in (Enterprise) AND issuetype in (subTaskIssueTypes(), Story) ORDER BY Rank ASC

I have the kanban board swimlanes set to 'story'.

Hi @Matt Agnes , welcome to the community.

Can you try using parentEpic in (EPV-526, EPV-607) in a quick filter to see if it achieves your goal? You might ignore all the other variables until you get only the stories and subtasks associated with the two epics being displayed. Then add in the other conditions.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that and the filter then only returned the two epics, but doesn't display the tickets or sub-tasks belonging to those two epics.

@Jack Brickey do you have any ideas of how I could fix this?
