Show edit screen using ScriptRunner validators

Hi,
I'm trying to implement the functionality using ScriptRunner the ability to pop up the issue edit screen when I close an issue in the workflow to force the user to enter a resolution before the issue can be Closed.
How do I get the issue edit screen to show with the resolution field selected so that the user is forced to select a resolution value before they are allowed to close the issue?
Example would be great!
