Shouldn't my total time spent on epic include the subtasks of it's child issue

My epic total time spent field shows 4 weeks, which is the log that is logged in the child issue of the epic. But the Child issue also has other subtasks linked to is. So ; 1-> 0 -> -1 link levels. (AP-1665 is the epic of AP-1989) 

The subtasks has total 10 weeks of log. So shouldn't my time spent on epic shows 14 weeks instead it shows 4 week?

I think the Sum of Time Spent is summing only the direct child from the work item, not all the descendent.
