I'm following these instructions to create a timeSeries chart in Confluence Cloud:
https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-chart-macro/. I have populated the fields in the left hand column but there aren't any tables appearing in the macro for me to add data to, where are they? I have specified a comma separated list of IDs (Open, In Progress, Resolved) but nothing appears. And I have no idea if I made any errors because apparently the macro updates automatically (and doesn't give me any feedback whatsoever).
Hi @Andrea Goldsmith ,
You should create your tables manually and paste them inside the Chart macro body, the tables are not generated automatically (check the very first screenshot of this doc).
Thanks, but I also tried that (creating the tables within the macro via Shift + Alt + t, and giving them the same column names that I provided in the macro details pane) but I still get the message within the generated chart: No Data Available. I tried creating a table outside of the macro and pasting it in per your suggestion, but that did not work either :(

I've copied and pasted the tables from the doc and here is how it works for me:
Then I set all the required parameters in the Chart macro panel as was shown in the example:
And here is my result:
Maybe it happens so that your company uses our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app for filtration and data aggregation? Try to browse for the Chart from Table macro in the macrobrowser and use it instead - our macro is more flexible and customized.

And one more thought - are your source tables manually created and not macro generated? Just saw that the question belongs to the jira-software section - the standard Chart macro doesn't support dynamically changing tables such as Jira Issue macros.
Our Chart from Table macro supports macro generated tables as well.

I was able to get it working by ticking Forgive - I think it was choking on the formatted dates. Thanks for the help!
