Should CREATE Issue default to project board open on current tab

Hi Nonso - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Just because you are on a particular board, it will not default to the Project for that board. It will default to the last project that you actually interacted with.

If you have a certain project in context and click Create the the project listed in the create screen should be the project that was in context.
