We leverage a lot the JXL "Sheets" apps along with shortcut in the sidebar to make user navigation as convineitn as possible. Will it be possible to integrate those shortcut in the new Jira Navigation menu?

Thanks,

Hi Laurent,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

I'm on the JXL team and glad you asked this, as we have had other customers struggling to find their sheets in the new navigation experience. Rest assured that the Sheets item is still there.

In Jira Cloud, the project navigation is now a horizontal tab bar, which results in many items such as apps being hidden at first glance. You need to click the More item on the right to access them. However, administrators have control over the project navigation and may reorder, add, and remove items (also see "Customize your project navigation" in this article by Atlassian). In order to prevent interruptions in your teams" workflow, we suggest you or your Jira or project administrator/s move the Sheets item into the viewport in all relevant projects.

At the time of writing, Jira Service Management Cloud still has its project navigation vertically in the sidebar for some reason. There, it seems like everything remains as is. If you expand a JSM project, the Sheets item is where you would expect it.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

Daniel
