Sharing gadget in dashboard to user

Hello Community,

How to share only gadget to user? I don't want to share whole dashboard, only one gadget should be shared to a user.

How to achieve this?

In Jira, you cannot share an individual dashboard gadget independently of the dashboard.

Dashboard permissions work at the dashboard level, not the gadget level. Every gadget inherits the sharing permissions of the dashboard it belongs to.

An option is Create a separate dashboard

• Create a new dashboard.
• Add only the gadget you want to share.
• Share that dashboard with the specific user, group, or project.
• Keep your main dashboard private.

I found that we can do it via plugin i.e Custom charts for JIRA. We can export particular gadget and share to user.
