Can you please confirm what exactly this "time frame" field would display in the related Epic?
If this time would be the expected time to conclude the child issues, you can use the Time tracking fields to add the backlog items with the remaining estimate, so the Epic panel in your board (Scrum or Kanban) would display the sum of all the estimation set in the related backlog items:
