Set parent's Fix version/s

Hi all

Currently, we have a requirement that the main task can obtain the field information of the subtask (e.g., fix version/s). I've tried many methods but found they don't work.
Additionally, I tried to set the value of the parent's field in the subtask, but I was unable to achieve this (as I observed)
I'm not sure whether "issue.setParentId()" and "issue.setParentObject()" can achieve this function, as I'm not familiar with the usage of these two methods

Hi @arno

Is my understanding correct that the field Fix Version/s is set on a sub-task and you want to set this field on the parent as well?

Based on what action, issue created/updated/field change?

Can you provide the details of your rule and the details of the steps in the rule and the audit log?

Hi @Marc -Devoteam-

Thank you for your reply

what we want to achieve is:

when a subtask closes ,the fix version/s value of the main task can be set to the fix version/s of the subtask

This should work.

Hi @Marc -Devoteam-

I'm sorry, maybe I didn't explain clearly. According to your picture, "copy from subtask fix version/s" is the effect I want to achieve
