I want to set permissions to the fields like financial fields that only special group can view and edit it.

But there is no setting for field permissions.

Hi Rasa,

Unfortunately, there aren't any native field-specific permissions in Jira. The lowest existing level is issue security, allowing you to restrict visibility of an issue using security schemes.

You might be able to achieve this though using an app - check out options such as:

Or, view more options on the Atlassian Marketplace

Hi @Rasa ,

Quick addition to what Ste said, here's a feature suggestion related to this request/requirement: JRACLOUD-69298: Allow fields to be hidden/edited when certain group or users views a ticket i.e field-level security (although, as can be seen from the latest update, this is not being considered at the moment).

Cheers,
Tobi
