Sending/Creating Issues in JIRA from 3rd Party Webhook (Mendix)

Hello, 

I'm new to Jira on the admin side and was wondering how to configure my project to accept and map a REST post from another system (Mendix) that users are submitting feedback to. I want that feedback to post to my JIRA project.

How do I configure JIRA to accept and map this information to a new project issue (if it's possible)?
