Send direct notifications as Slack messages

Hello,

I'm looking for a simple Jira <> Slack integrations that could automatically send a DM to users whenever they have a direct notification (basically mention and card assignation).

Not all the noise produced by "watched" issue, status changed etc. 

Does that integration exists?

There are several add-ons that provide the assign notifications that you are looking for, including the free integration between Slack x JIRA officially provided by Atlassian. The problem is to send a notification when a user is mentioned, which is not provided by the official add-on.

To send notifications when a user is mentioned, you can use the Slack integration for JIRA provided by Nextup.ai.

Another option would be to use JIRA Automation plugin and configure the following rule for each user or use an If/else block for multiple users:

Since you would have to configure a rule for each user you have in your JIRA site, we understand this is not a good solution for a big team.
