Self hosted tool JIRA Oauth URL templates

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I want to set up OAuth with self hosted application using this
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/integrate-with-self-hosted-tools-using-oauth/
but what is unclear is when Development Information is checked,
it wants `Create Branch URL Template`
and for Feature flags it wants
`Create Flag URL Template`,`Link Flag URL Template`, `List Flags URL Template`
What are these supposed to be and how are we supposed to integrate them with our application?
